The Edgard Frankignoul Prize has been awarded since 2007 as part of the Braunschweig Pile Symposium at Braunschweig University of Technology. The award honours outstanding work by students and young engineers on the subject of piles and pile foundations. Stump-Franki, a subsidiary of PORR, sponsors the award. Once again this year, prizes worth a total of € 7,000 were awarded.

After several months of precise work in close cooperation, the U5 Europaviertel consortium, consisting of PORR's civil engineering and tunnelling divisions and subsidiary Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau, has reached another milestone in the "U5 Europaviertel Frankfurt a. M. light rail line extension" project: excavation work for the construction pit on Boulevard East has been safely completed.
