With our gravel plant in Aschheim near Munich, we are active in the extraction, processing and sale of mineral raw materials, especially sand and gravel.

Conveniently located for transport, the PORR Rohstoffe GmbH & Co. KG produces various types of crushed and uncrushed aggregates as well as high-quality aggregate mixtures for a wide range of applications. Our high-quality products, years of experience and the personal commitment of our employees make us a reliable partner for your construction project. 

The temporarily used areas for raw materials extraction are subsequently recultivated, which can lead to soil improvements as well as providing new habitats for animals.

Recultivation: Responsible treatment of nature.

A central aspect after the extraction of sand and gravel is the further use of the area. In order to be able to renature or recultivate the resulting areas after extraction, the so-called "backfilling" is a central component of the extraction process. In this process, the areas are closed again in stages with carefully selected materials.

Recultivation is the restoration of farmland and semi-natural habitats for plants and animals that have been altered during the period of sand and gravel extraction. Through recultivation, the areas we use are returned to nature and designed according to both natural requirements and official requirements.

Certificates.

The Bavarian Building Materials Monitoring and Certification Association BAYBÜV e.V. is entrusted with the external monitoring of our plant. The aggregates comply with the requirements of DIN EN 12620, the construction material mixtures for frost protection layers are in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN 13285. In addition, we permanently monitor the production and further processing of our gravel products ourselves and thus offer our customers the highest level of quality.
