Our services range from design planning to approval planning to implementation planning. If desired, our experts can also take over the entire planning process. We always choose the most suitable method for your project when it comes to excavation pits, deep foundations, subsoil improvement or underpinning. As a full-service provider, we can offer all technical procedures of foundation engineering neutrally and from a single source. We will find the best solution for you.

Security.

We minimise risks for your construction project through the consistent use of 3D planning and Building Information Modelling (BIM). This allows us to identify the many interfaces, e.g. with underground supply lines or existing neighbouring buildings, at an early stage and avoid collisions, especially in inner-city construction projects.

Wherever it makes ecological sense, we show alternative foundation concepts, such as the redesign of large bore piles to displacement piles.

Deep foundations

Deep foundations - often referred to as pile foundations - are always used where the layers close to the surface do not adequately bear the loads of the structure and the building loads have to be transferred to deeper, more load-bearing soil layers. Here we plan for you with all common pile systems, for a foundation that is optimally tailored to the requirements of your project.

Subsoil improvements

In the case of very soft or less load-bearing layers, targeted subsoil improvement measures can be an economical alternative. In this area, we offer a wide range of traditional and innovative techniques for stabilising the existing subsoil. The cost and cost-effectiveness of a stabilisation measure always depend heavily on the local boundary conditions.

  • Gravel tamping columns
  • Vibro-compaction
  • Vibro replacement
  • Whether deep foundations or subsoil improvement - the decisive factor is a safe and economically optimised solution. Through the targeted combination of different systems, we increase cost-effectiveness and ensure a smooth process on the construction site.

Securing and refurbishing - We create a secure and stable foundation

Securing neighbouring buildings with deeper construction pits.
If a deeper working level is planned next to or near an existing building, underpinning is often required to prevent the building from slipping into the construction pit. Underpinning may also be necessary if a building is to be subsequently deepened to prevent cracking due to soil settlement.

The foundation loads of the existing building with a shallow foundation can be transferred to a deeper foundation level using so-called underpinning bodies. Underpinning can also help to increase the external load-bearing capacity of existing foundations as well as to repair damage due to increased impacts, e.g. as a result of a change of use of the building.

Retrofitting foundations for existing buildings and increasing the load-bearing capacity.
Is there major subsidence in an existing building? Or do larger loads have to be transferred to the subsoil as a result of a planned conversion or a subsequent addition to the building?
Then retrofitting foundations of the existing building to a deeper foundation level is often necessary to ensure that the building remains stable. Through the targeted use of micro piles or the injection of ultra-fine cement, for example, subsequent foundation work can also be carried out in the building and often even during ongoing operations.
