The future hotel at the capital's BER Berlin Brandenburg Airport will extend over six storeys on a site area of 5,183 m2. With a gross floor area of around 17,000 m2, the building will offer generous space for 271 hotel rooms as well as numerous amenities. In addition to a fitness room, a bar and a breakfast room, the hotel will also have conference rooms. Guests will also have access to 193 underground car parking spaces. A special feature is the integration of photovoltaic thermal modules on the roof, which contribute to both electricity and heat generation.

Specialised civil engineering work started
Preparations for the building construction are already in full swing. The excavation pit and the installation of the sheet piling are currently being carried out by PORR Spezialtiefbau. As the project is supported by a KfW subsidy, adherence to deadlines and construction quality have top priority. The consistent application of lean management methods throughout the planning and construction process ensures cost transparency, adherence to deadlines and the desired high quality.
