Ready, set, go: On 17 August, despite very high temperatures, sweating and sporting was the order of the day in Hamburg from late afternoon onwards. The annual MOPO team relay race took place in Hamburg's city park. Around 2,000 teams had registered. Stump-Franki, PORR Hochbau from the North Region and colleagues from PDE were also represented at this joint sports event: Five times five kilometres awaited our four teams, each with five starters. Each team member completed five kilometres - then the baton was handed over.
For our PORRians, the run was not just a sports unit, but a nice team event with a joint finish into the summer evening in Hamburg's city park. The sporting commitment also paid off for a good cause: PSD Bank Nord, the title partner of the run, donated ten euros for each team that registered for the MOPO Team Relay to Stadtpark Verein Hamburg e.V. for the expansion of the tree nature trail.
