With challenging construction projects, PORR is known in Germany as a technology leader in the industry. 2,900 employees ensure top performance along the entire value chain. From the beginning of 2024, the brand presence of the subsidiaries will now be combined under one roof. Oevermann Hochbau GmbH, Oevermann Verkehrswegebau GmbH, Radmer Kies GmbH & Co. KG as well as Stump-Franki Planung GmbH and Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau GmbH will in future operate under the PORR brand.

"PORR has built up an excellent reputation in Germany," describes Karl-Heinz Strauss, CEO of PORR AG. "With the realignment of the brand, we are now sharpening our profile and laying the foundations for the further targeted expansion of our market position. There is hardly a construction company that is as broadly positioned as PORR."

PORR plans and builds sophisticated, tailor-made solutions. Its service portfolio ranges from general planning to turnkey implementation. The company is active in Germany in the fields of raw materials, building construction, industrial construction, civil engineering, tunnelling, transport route engineering, special civil engineering, steel construction as well as environmental engineering. In addition to organic growth, PORR has supplemented its portfolio in Germany since the beginning of 1990 with targeted company acquisitions. Radmer Bau, Stump-Spezialtiefbau, Franki Grundbau, Oevermann Hochbau, Oevermann Verkehrswegebau, C+P Stahl- und Systembau became part of the company. In future, the activities of the subsidiaries in Germany will be combined under the PORR brand.

Alignment for a successful future

Claude Jeutter, Managing Director of PORR GmbH & Co. KGaA, Munich explains: "From the point of view of our clients, subcontractors and applicants, our comprehensive range of services has not always been clearly recognisable up to now. For example, we often appeared in parallel with the PORR brand and the brands of our subsidiaries. With a view to future market requirements, the growth we are aiming for and the recruitment of junior and specialist staff, the bundling of activities under the PORR brand strengthens our recognition and position on the market." It also makes PORR even more attractive as an employer.

PORR's corporate structure in Germany is already positioned "close to the customer" thanks to a nationwide network of locations for the individual service areas. "The smooth processes and the usual trusting, cooperative collaboration with our business partners will continue in the future," emphasises Jeutter. On the construction sites, the Oevermann and Stump-Franki logos will be replaced with the PORR logo; construction processes will not be affected.

On course for sustainable growth

With the reorganisation of its brand, PORR is well positioned for the challenges of the coming years. CEO Strauss explains: "We want to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Green Deal and the associated expansion of infrastructure, energy supply and buildings. There will be massive changes here in the next few years, which we as PORR will actively shape with our broad range of services and in-depth expertise."
