The German Sustainability Award (DNP) for companies is being presented for the 16th time this year in cooperation with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the German Sustainability Award Foundation. The finalists for the award have now been announced: PORR Germany is one of them.
The prize honours the best examples and pioneering contributions to the transformation towards a sustainable future. With five competitions and 2,000 guests at the closing ceremony, it is the most comprehensive award of its kind in Europe. In the "Construction Industry" category, PORR is one of the leaders among the pioneers of transformation.
We are taking responsibility with our "Green and Lean" sustainability strategy. Our most important areas of action are derived from the materiality analysis and reflect the three dimensions of sustainability: environment, social and governance. The use of sustainable building materials and the achievement of various sustainability certifications for our building construction and specialised civil engineering projects are just some of the building blocks of our holistic strategy.
