PORR celebrates milestone company anniversaries

A total of 28 PORRians came together at the Wirtshaus im Bavariapark in Munich on 10 November, all of them with one thing in common: they have been with the company for at least a quarter of a century. This year, after a two-year break due to the coronavirus pandemic, our long-serving employees were invited to an anniversary celebration in honour of their 25, 35 and in some cases even 45 years of service.

They included 28 long-serving employees from all over Germany who work for PORR or its subsidiaries BBGS GmbH, H&E Haustechnik, PORR Oevermann, PORR Equipment Services and Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau, along with a representative of the Group Works Council. Claude Jeutter, Technical Managing Director of PORR Germany, and Jan Schwägerl, Commercial Managing Director of PORR Germany, welcomed the long-standing employees and thanked them for their many years of loyal service. Karl-Heinz Strauß, CEO of PORR AG, also made the journey from Vienna to take part in the celebration and expressed his appreciation to the service anniversary celebrants.

After enjoying a glass of sparkling wine and the welcoming speech, the employees were presented with their awards by members of management. After the award ceremony, the celebrants had the opportunity to talk to each other and their managers in a relaxed and informal atmosphere over dinner.

PORR’s German HR department, which was entrusted with the organisation of the service anniversary ceremony, would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone else who contributed to making the event a success.
