Ramada Encore by Wyndham, Berlin Airport

A new airport hotel under the Ramada Encore by Wyndham brand is being built at the capital's BER Berlin Brandenburg Airport in Schönefeld. PORR Hochbau Region Ost was commissioned by SWH Airporthotel Schönefeld GmbH as general contractor for the construction of the new hotel. The specialised civil engineering works are being carried out by PORR Spezialtiefbau.

The new airport hotel with four upper floors will have 271 rooms on a gross floor area of approx. 16,763 m2. 193 car parking spaces in two basement levels complete the building. The construction project is located in the immediate vicinity of the Waßmannsdorf S-Bahn station, the last stop before BER Airport. With the S-Bahn just a few steps away, hotel guests can travel directly to the BER terminal. This makes the hotel a comfortable place to stay for travellers looking for short distances.

LEAN management for adherence to quality, costs and deadlines

The central requirements for the new building are adherence to the cost and schedule plan as well as the implementation of the hotel operator's standards.
