Learning from each other and putting the focus: Building Construction Day East 2023
On 21 April 2023, the employees of PORR Hochbau Region Ost from the Berlin, Dresden and Schmölln sites came together for the annual Hochbautag in Berlin. The aim of the event: to stimulate internal exchange, promote knowledge transfer among PORRians and sharpen the region's strategic focus. In the special atmosphere of the UCI cinema in Berlin, the year 2022 was looked back on, insights were gained and the course was set for the future.
The futuristic cinema provided the ideal atmosphere for this year's event: after a brief welcome and presentation on the company and the Building Construction Region East by Regional Managers Andreas Kimling and Marc Leutloff, the current projects at the sites were presented by the responsible project managers. In addition, the topic of LEAN was the focus of the Building Construction Day: efficiency, transparency and continuous improvement processes are part of PORR's holistic strategy. Like all business divisions, the Building Construction East Region clearly pursues the goal of linking the areas of planning, sustainability, BIM and LEAN in a way that adds value for clients. The topics of warranty, fire protection and occupational safety also had their place at the event and completed the programme.
