At our construction site in Backnang (Baden-Württemberg), where a new building including an underground garage with a timber hybrid superstructure is being built, a safe and flexible solution for the foundation of the underground garage and the residential building was required: The loads from the new building were to be transferred via the existing foundations. However, the existing foundations had to be additionally reinforced with micropiles.
