EXPO REAL took place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from 04 to 06 October 2023. As in previous years, PORR was once again represented as an exhibitor at the most important industry meeting for the real estate sector. Under the trade fair motto "From planning to the finished project. Green and Lean." PORR welcomed its clients, partners and interested parties.
Why is "Green and Lean" an essential part of the trade fair motto? Because climate change and digitalisation are two important challenges - today and for the future.
What does "Green" stand for?
"Green" means one thing above all: responsibility. Because we are not only building for today and tomorrow, but also for the day after tomorrow. Our goal is to integrate construction processes as far as possible in closed material cycles. We want to further advance the share of sustainable projects and go climate-neutral.
That is why we focus on solutions for a climate-neutral future through planning and design, in the construction process and in operation, as well as in revitalisation. For our clients' building projects, this means: a low carbon footprint, resource conservation and holistic sustainable realisation from planning to the finished project. We accompany you from the formulation of target values for building properties according to desired quality seals (e.g. DGNB) to the documentation accompanying planning and construction to certification.
What does ",... and Lean"?
"And" means more than the combination of Green and Lean. Change only succeeds together. That is why we rely on partner models for the realisation of projects. Good and meaningful things are multiplied. The project is considered over its entire life cycle (planning, construction, operation and revitalisation) and implemented from a single source.
"Lean" refers to the way we think and act. Lean is firmly anchored in our management approaches and lived practice with the help of LEAN Design and Construction. At PORR, lean is reflected in a lean organisation with short decision-making paths. For our clients this means: fixed contact persons available at all times at eye level, cost savings and elimination of disruptions and waste in the project process through transparency, completion on schedule through cycle planning, ensuring the desired construction quality through standardised working methods.
