Our corporate values of "shoulder to shoulder" and "passion" are not only evident in the realisation of our projects, on our construction sites or in the office. We also look out for each other outside of our work and put our heart and soul into helping people in our society who are less fortunate. As part of the "Münchner Geschenkeregen" donation campaign, a project organised by Charity Meets Challenge E.V., the Munich branch fulfilled the Christmas wishes of children and young people from refugee accommodation centres. The official gift handover took place at our head office on 7 December.
Crayons, cuddly toys, dolls or footballs - the wish lists of the children from refugee centres are small and everyday and amount to a maximum value of 20 euros. Each wish list was assigned to a PORRian from the Munich branch, who volunteered to take part in the campaign. The donation campaign met with great interest and commitment. In total, we fulfilled 110 wishes.
At the official gift handover on 7 December 2023 in the foyer of the PORR Munich branch, employees of the refugee accommodation as well as PORRians gathered on behalf of the children. Claude Jeutter, Technical Managing Director of PORR Germany, and Jan Schwägerl, Commercial Managing Director, also took part in the handover.
We are delighted to bring a little joy to the children with these Christmas presents.
