PORR Deutschland is expanding - new branch office opens in Stuttgart

Munich, 1 June 2016 – With the opening of the Stuttgart branch office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, PORR is continuing to expand its presence in the southwest of Germany: “The Baden-Württemberg region is a strong economic area. By establishing this new site, we intend to intensify our construction business and build on existing cooperation initiatives. The Stuttgart branch office is a key component of our new corporate strategy for the coming years”, said Frank Jainz, Managing Director of PORR Deutschland GmbH together with Stephan Hebgen.

The new Stuttgart office, which will be led by Dietmar Scholz and Andreas Wegst, focuses on building construction. The service range includes office, hotel and residential construction, building clinics, healthcare facilities and care homes, through to refurbishment. As a full service provider, PORR offers every aspect of construction from a single source. The company not only delivers building shells and turnkey buildings, but also realises large-scale tenders and operates as a design-build contractor. PORR has been active in the Baden-Württemberg region for some time and its current projects include the construction of the residential and hotel project “Alter Güterbahnhof” in Freiburg on an area totalling 11,600 sqm, as well as its involvement in the major Stuttgart 21 project.
