Affordable housing in German cities is becoming increasingly scarce - new housing is in demand. The SWD Städt. Wohnungsgesellschaft Düsseldorf mbH & Co. KG is therefore committed to creating new affordable housing and modernising and maintaining existing properties. SWD's publicly subsidised construction projects primarily target people who have a medium or lower income. In one of these important projects, the Düsseldorf branch of Oevermann Hochbau GmbH has now been awarded the contract for the turnkey construction of 46 residential units with an underground car park for 19 parking spaces in Lörick, one of Düsseldorf's most beautiful districts. The first work on the new construction project in Hansaallee will start in May 2023. It is expected that the future residents will be able to find their new home there towards the end of 2024.
