The future has its origins

Stump-Franki becomes PORR Spezialtiefbau GmbH

On 1 January 2024, Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau GmbH adopted a new name and now operates under PORR Spezialtiefbau GmbH.

A strong sign for the future

With the change of name to PORR Spezialtiefbau GmbH, we are sending a strong signal for the future. We are proud to be part of the PORR Group, which stands for innovation, quality and sustainability. Together, we will continue to set standards in special civil engineering and successfully realise your projects.

The future has roots

Stump-Franki can look back on a long and successful history. Since its foundation, the company has implemented countless projects and earned a reputation as a reliable and innovative partner in the construction industry. Our expertise and commitment have made us a leading provider in this field.

The most important milestones in our company's development:

2024

Since the beginning of the year, the special civil engineering company Stump-Franki has been operating on the market as an independent service area under the PORR brand. This strengthens PORR's integrated approach as a full-service provider offering all steps along the value chain of a construction project from a single source.

2019

In April 2019, Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau GmbH was formed through the merger of Stump Spezialtiefbau and FRANKI Grundbau. Both companies bring many years of experience and expertise to the joint venture and complement each other perfectly.

2013/2017

In 2017, FRANKI Grundbau GmbH & Co. KG, based in Seevetal, will also be taken over by PORR. Extensive investments in the construction of new Atlas equipment and FRANKI pile drivers are decided upon.

The takeover of Stump Spezialtiefbau GmbH by the PORR Group in 2013 strengthens the international orientation.

1990 / 1995

With the expansion of diaphragm wall technology at FRANKI Grundbau (1990) and the integration of Brechtelterra Spezialtiefbau und Umwelttechnik GmbH into Stump Spezialtiefbau GmbH in 1995, the portfolio was expanded to include the construction of more complex construction pits with all trades from a single source.

1985

Introduction of the fully displacement Atlas pile at FRANKI GRUNDBAU.

1969

Stump receives the first general building approval in Germany for the Duplex anchor.

1960

Foundation of Stump Bohr GmbH in Munich as a subsidiary of Stump Bohr AG Zurich.

1932

Foundation of the Frankipfahl company in Düsseldorf.

1908

Edgard Frankignoul invents the Frankipile, a cast-in-place concrete driven pile with an enlarged pile foot.
