Residential building with a total of 54 residential units
The PORR Hochbau South Region is realising three turnkey residential buildings on Industriestrasse 30 in the Munich district of Aubing on behalf of Krieger + Schramm Wohnbau München GmbH & Co. KG. The new trio of buildings will have a total of 54 residential units and an underground car park. Designed as KfW 55 efficiency houses, they not only promise future residents a modern home in an attractive residential area, but also offer excellent energy efficiency values. The residential complex was designed by juergenseifert.com A R C H I T E K T U R planen & beraten GmbH from Munich.
The district of Aubing is located on the western outskirts of Munich. The original town centre is situated at the northern end of the Munich gravel plain, at the transition to the Dachau Marshes. Almost 50,000 inhabitants live in the urban district, whose historic village centre around the St. Quirin Church is a listed building. Despite its village-like structure, Aubing is quite urban. The district is particularly popular with families because, despite being a quiet residential area, the city centre is still quickly accessible. In addition, two of Munich's most beautiful bathing lakes, Langwieder See and Lußsee, are in the immediate vicinity.
LEAN ensures detailed planning of the execution.
PORR is building the new trio of buildings not far from the historic centre of Alt-Aubing. A total of 54 residential units with one to four rooms and living spaces of around 30 to 106 m² will be built on the three floors of each of the three buildings. A shared underground car park connects the buildings. The condominiums are being built according to the Krieger + Schramm Wohngesund Bauen standard, using building materials that have been tested for harmful substances. Built as KfW 55 efficiency houses, the residents of the three-storey buildings will benefit from low energy costs in the future. In addition, the sand-lime brickwork ensures a healthy living environment and high sound insulation.
In addition to the ‘one-stop service’ promise, PORR impressed with its consistent use of lean management methods. This approach guarantees precise planning, cost transparency and efficient collaboration throughout the entire planning and construction process. It also ensures that deadlines are met, which is of great importance to the client. Even the challenges posed by narrow access routes and limited space are overcome thanks to LEAN logistics. The buildings are scheduled for completion in November 2026.
