The quarter "An der Mole 3-9" comprises 169 flats, a day-care centre with approx. 48 places and 4-5 commercial units on the ground floor as well as 4200 sqm of outdoor facilities with differently designed courtyard areas and playgrounds. A highlight: each flat has at least one balcony facing the water. The planning envisages a façade characterised by red-coloured through-grain fine-grain plaster and floor-to-ceiling windows in metallic gold.
PORR is providing comprehensive services for the project from a single source: The alternative foundation is being realised by the specialist civil engineering experts from PORR subsidiary Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau on 250 Atlas full-displacement-piles with a length of around 20-30m. The foundation work will start in November. The shell construction work is scheduled to start in spring 2022.
The Quartier an der Mole is the third project that PORR is carrying out for HOWOGE as general contractor, following the Q218 and Frankfurt Allee 135 construction projects.
