Parkstadt Karlshorst is being developed on a former industrial estate in Berlin-Lichtenberg covering an area of roughly 12 hectares. PORR is building 15 turnkey residential buildings with a total of 239 apartments and 135 underground parking spaces. Construction is scheduled to start in August 2021 for the two commissioned construction phases. All buildings are expected to be completed in May 2023.

PORR was already involved earlier in the project start-up phase, where it manifested itself as a competent partner who could complete the project quickly and directly.
The Parkstadt Karlshorst quarter
A new residential area with a total of 1,000 apartments is emerging on the site of a former industrial estate in the Lichtenberg neighbourhood in southeast Berlin. Besides residential space, this project will also offer important infrastructure for Berlin-Lichtenberg, including a school, kindergarten and shopping opportunities.
