After the ground-breaking ceremony in the presence of the client, Fourmove Architekten Partnergesellschaft, and the mayor of Kaarst, construction officially began on September 2, 2024. Final completion is scheduled for January 2026. The services of the structural engineering team from Düsseldorf for the partial turnkey construction include the earthworks, the reinforced concrete and brickwork, the roof and façade work as well as the entire finishing work without building services and outdoor facilities.

The shell of the building will be constructed using traditional concrete and brickwork. A façade cladding with sand-colored bricks creates a bright and high-quality atmosphere. The roofs will be greened and almost all apartments will have a terrace, loggia or balcony.

In October 2023, DGN, one of the market-leading IT service providers in the German healthcare sector, relocated its headquarters to Kaarst. By offering discounted company apartments, the company aims to raise its profile as an attractive employer in the Rhineland metropolitan region. A number of apartments are planned as furnished boarding apartments specifically for the development department, which regularly works with external specialists on a project-related basis. Local amenities and a daycare center already under construction will ensure short distances in the new quarter.
