Contracts with the US government agencies are extremely complex and demanding, as they require us to comply with both American and European standards. They also require maximum transparency and excellent communication between all parties involved in order to be able to react quickly and recognize risks at an early stage. Using Primavera project management software, BBGS construction managers are able to record, manage and evaluate individual aspects of large projects in real time. However, this requires high expertise in the software. The market and our client’s requirements are continuously evolving and therefore the BBGS Group site managers receive regular refresher trainings. Additionally, for our new colleagues we offer a foundation training in Primavera.
Mathias Kröner, key user and Primavera specialist at BBGS GmbH Kaiserslautern, conducted the trainings at each BBGS office individually such as in Poznan/Poland, Bucharest/Romania, Vicenza/Italy. The BBGS team from Jodoigne/Belgium travelled to Kaiserslautern. Our colleagues received a comprehensive training as well as a refresher course to demonstrate the new features for operation of the Primavera system. The participants agreed that BBGS is very ‘lean’ with Primavera and therefore remains competitive. The measurability of the individual processes is particularly important to them, as this is the only way to control and continuously improve their performance on each construction project. Customer satisfaction and the high order intake are proof of this.
