On September 13, 2022, PORR received the "Employer of the Future" award from the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND). The award recognizes companies that demonstrate future viability and quality as employers. The initiative is supported by former Federal Minister of Economics Brigitte Zypries.
To identify the employers of the future, DIND examines companies for their innovative strength, the status of digital transformation, employee friendliness, modern leadership and recruiting strategies. Flat hierarchies, flexible compensation models and employee benefits, for example, are included in a holistic picture that is drawn up on the basis of an assessment matrix developed in collaboration with experts from business and academia. The awards were presented for the first time this year at an event in Cologne.
