PORR GmbH & Co. KGaA is building on its steel construction capabilities: the company has taken over all shares in C+P Stahl- und Systembau GmbH & Co. KG in Zahna-Elster, integrating the new subsidiary into the newly formed PORR Stahl- und Systembau GmbH. This transaction incorporates the takeover of the company’s production facility, technologies and competencies at the Saxony-Anhalt site.
The new company will offer the complete steel construction package, from planning and coordination to in-house manufacture, transport and assembly. Key services will focus on the areas of steel bridge construction, steel building construction, the manufacture of composite precast bearers and composite structures for bridges and steel building construction projects.
“This acquisition enhances PORR’s portfolio as a full-service provider in Germany”, explains Claude-Patrick Jeutter, Technical Managing Director at PORR, “and having our own production facility in Zahna-Elster enables us to respond to the individual wishes and requirements of our clients with greater flexibility.”
