For many employees, achieving personal career goals with regard to further training opportunities and promotion prospects is a decisive point in their daily working life and when choosing an employer. PORR is committed to promoting individual potential. It supports its PORRians in achieving personal career goals through regular employee appraisals and internal training opportunities with practice-oriented seminars at the porr_academy. The focus here is on both basic and advanced training in specialist skills and on personal development. In addition, the Woman@PORR initiative specifically promotes women at PORR with the aim of increasing diversity within the company.
The "Top Career Opportunities 2022" study took a two-step methodological approach: While social listening examined the topics of working climate, the corporate culture and careers, a structured questionnaire sent out in parallel to the companies covered, among other things, the topics of top career opportunities in general and additionally top career opportunities in the categories of university graduates, for IT specialists and for engineers. In the "construction companies" sector, Porr landed in the top 5 of the companies with the best career opportunities in all subject areas.
