On behalf of long-standing customer HBG Bauträger GmbH, PORR Hochbau Region Nord constructed the new administration building on Stickgraser Allee, at the corner of Syker Straße. The building covers a site area of 3,714 m² and, in addition to the main building, also includes extensive outdoor facilities, parking spaces as well as ancillary buildings. Thanks to its square floor plan, the two-storey administration building offers maximum flexibility and short distances. Around 100 employees of EWE AG now enjoy modern and environmentally friendly workplaces here.
PORR's Green and Lean strategy has accompanied the project from the outset
In order to optimise the construction process in terms of resources and time, the project was successfully carried out using LEAN Construction methods.
This approach enabled smooth project coordination and transparent communication channels, allowing work steps to be clearly defined and analysed in advance. As a result, the construction team was able to hand over the building to the client one month ahead of the actual completion date. Sustainability was a top priority for the project. The new administration building is to be constructed and operated in as resource-efficient a manner as possible.
The DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) Gold Certificate is being sought as proof of sustainability. PORR is a long-standing and experienced DGNB member and is committed to resource-efficient construction processes. The PORR team is using this experience to consult and support the client during the certification process. The ecological quality of the building is underlined by the installation of a heat pump, a photovoltaic system with storage and electric charging stations.
Long-standing shoulder-to-shoulder cooperation leads to success
The trusting cooperation between HBG Bauträger GmbH and PORR Building Construction Region North has once again proven its worth. Successful projects have already been realised in the past, such as the administration building for the job centre and employment agency in Bad Segeberg, as well as the extension for the job centre in Ahrensburg and the Schleswig employment agency. This long-standing partnership and the close shoulder-to-shoulder cooperation between the companies have contributed significantly to the success of the project.
