Early completion accelerates the entire project
Regional Manager Andreas Kimling draws a positive conclusion: ‘The fact that we were able to start the first acceptance tests four months before the contractual completion date and that the shell was also handed over ahead of schedule is testament to our excellent project coordination as well as the smooth and transparent communication between all parties involved. This achievement underlines our ability to manage complex construction projects effectively and complete them on time and cements our reputation as a reliable and efficient partner.’
Relationship with the client is characterised by trust and transparency
Quarter 315 in Berlin-Lichtenberg is an important project for affordable housing in the capital. On a total area of around 13,400 square metres, 173 rental flats are being built, 89 of which are socially subsidised. The project includes a daycare centre with at least 16 places, 69 underground parking spaces and 412 bicycle parking spaces. The U-shaped, eight-storey building was built in accordance with the GEG 2020 energy efficiency standard and will have a green roof with a photovoltaic system as well as a landscaped courtyard with a playground. The flats range from one-bedroom flats to five-bedroom flats, with 87 units designed to be barrier-free. QUARTERBACK is realising the project, which actively assumes social responsibility by providing a high proportion of affordable housing and living space. ‘We consider ourselves fortunate to be working with this client to realise a forward-looking showcase project that combines sustainable, efficient and economical construction,’ concludes Kimling.
