Munich/Münster/Kirchheim u. Teck, 2 July 2025 – PORR Verkehrswegebau GmbH is consistently pursuing its strategic realignment in south-western Germany: A. Waggershauser Asphaltmischwerk GmbH & Co. KG, based in Kirchheim/Teck – Lindorf, will operate under the name PORR Asphalt-Mischwerk GmbH from 1 July 2025. At the same time, Waggershauser Strassenbau GmbH & Co. KG will transfer its equipment pool to CMG Gesellschaft für Baulogistik GmbH, a subsidiary company of PORR, which will take over the central management of the machinery pool in future.
Clear structures, efficient processes
‘With this transformation, we are creating a clear organisational unit for our mixing plant and strengthening our innovative power in the field of sustainable asphalt production,’ explains Joachim Sunderkemper, Technical Managing Director of PORR Verkehrswegebau GmbH. ‘The close connection to our branch in Kirchheim/Teck ensures short distances, high quality and optimal coordination for our projects in the region.’
The transfer of the equipment fleet to CMG is a further step towards the efficient management of machinery and vehicles within the company. In future, CMG will maintain all Waggershauser machinery and integrate it into PORR's group-wide logistics system.
Asphalt mix for a sustainable future: ‘CO₂-neutral’ from Lindorf
A highlight of the asphalt mixing plant in Kirchheim/Teck – Lindorf is the production of virtually CO₂-neutral asphalt mix. Thanks to high recycling rates and state-of-the-art plant technology, PORR is setting new standards in resource conservation and emission reduction, in line with its ‘Green and Lean’ corporate strategy. PORR Asphalt-Mischwerk GmbH is thus becoming a key location for sustainable road construction in southern Germany.
