A former industrial site is being given a new lease of life in Landsberg am Lech. Teams are hard at work developing the new project on a prime site next to Landsberg’s old town with views over the historic centre. The 57,000m2 urban development will have a mix of residences, offices, retail, cafés and restaurants, day care areas and cultural venues.
Am Papierbogen and the Spöttinger Höfe
PORR is responsible for turnkey construction of two job sections: “Am Papierbogen” and “Spöttinger Höfe”. “Am Papierbogen” will be a modular complex, with a variety of accommodation units combined into one block. The various flat styles, with a range of different floor plans, are all being designed accessibly, so that accommodation will be available for people at all stages of life. In total, “Am Papierbogen” will have 92 publicly and privately funded flats. The second residential complex, “Spöttinger Höfe”, is to comprise 54 flats with 2-4 rooms, plus underground parking. The special feature of the “Höfe”, or courtyards, is their unique rooftop gardens and recreation areas.
Execution planning was launched for the “Am Papierbogen” and “Spöttinger Höfe” complexes in November 2020 and construction will start in March 2021. Both building sections are expected to be completed in April 2023.
