Lakeward is planning to construct two residential building complexes comprising three and four buildings, respectively, each with a basement/underground parking garage, ground floor and four to six upper floors, on two plots of land (north and south). The development will cover a total area of 12,855 square metres.
There will be just under 400 residential units. The north plot will house a daycare centre and eight retail units. The flats will vary in size from one to five rooms and will be built as rentals, of which 79 will be eligible for housing assistance.
The development’s distinctive colour scheme, a red facade in the north section and a green facade in the south, will ensure that it stands out from the existing buildings.
Lakeward is committed to advancing the concept of environmental social governance (ESG) in the real estate sector. This concept has also been applied to this project: a partnership approach involving close cooperation with PORR and other partners facilitated the responsible and sustainable development of this new urban quarter.
Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2021. The two building plots, excluding the outdoor facilities, are scheduled for completion in November 2023.
